Although most trouble calls can be responded to in less than 24 hours, in certain situations we may need up to 72 hours for a physical response.

Control boxes are equipped with a High Water Alarm (HWA) light and buzzer to inform you of a possible chlorinator clog, high water level, or other possible malfunction. The small black button on the side or front of the control box will silence the alarm. You may get a HWA in the late afternoon or evening if enough water has been run through the system that day. This is usually an indication of excessive water usage. Infiltration from rain is unavoidable during heavy rains and may cause your system to spray during the day and or HWA light to come on. You may want to look at yard drainage and divert run off from crossing tanks. If the alarm light is off the next morning the system has sprayed overnight and returned the water levels to normal. If the alarm is still on the next morning, please call the service provider.

Depress and release 7.5amp mini breaker. If the aerator does not start, please contact the service provider.

Depress and release the 20amp mini breaker in the control box.  Check the interior breaker and re-set it if it has been tripped.  If the system still doesn’t spray, call your service provider.

If you experience any odor coming from the tanks or spray heads, make sure the aerator is running (the aerator should always be running). If not, check the 7.5amp mini breaker and the breaker inside the breaker box (could be in the garage or house). If the breakers aren’t tripped and the aerator still isn’t running, call your service provider. If the aerator is running, there may be a dirty filter or air issue. Chlorine has nothing to do with odors.

If you experience any odor inside the house, check all drains in your house that you do not use on a regular basis. Run water down them for 30 seconds. The p-trap may be dry which would allow odors to come through the pipes. Run water down laundry room floor drains and garage drains as well. If you experience odor inside the house with slow drains, there may be a plumbing vent issue. Birds and bees like to use these vents as homes, clogging the vents. Wax rings on toilets may crack and cause an odor. If you experience an odor inside and outside, please call your service provider.

If your plumbing fixtures are draining slowly, check the control box for a High Water Alarm. If the alarm is on, silence it by depressing the small black button on the side or front of the control box. If the light is not on and there is power to the system (you can hear or feel that the aerator is running), the problem is likely on the interior of the home. Malfunction of the system will generally affect more than one drain.
